Wickenburg Breast Cancer Network, Inc. (WBCN) is a non-profit corporation, formed in 2009 to provide educational and emotional support as well as financial assistance for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer in Wickenburg and 13 surrounding rural communities.  WBCN also sponsors an annual Breast Cancer Survivor “Celebration of Life” luncheon in March.

WBCN is staffed 100% by volunteers.

Our primary fundraising event is “Wickenburg Walks to BOOT Breast Cancer,” held every October in downtown Wickenburg, Arizona. Since inception, WBCN has donated more than $175,000 to the Pink Ribbon Angels and $15,000 to TGen in Phoenix for breast cancer research and clinical trials. WBCN also obtained $30,000 in grants from the Safeway Foundation for the Pink Ribbon Angels.

The Pink Ribbon Angels (PRA) a 501(c)3 is a program of Wickenburg Community Hospital Foundation, formed in January 2009 for the purpose of providing assistance to qualified residents of Wickenburg and surrounding rural areas to cover uninsured expenses associated with the diagnosis of breast cancer in women and men.
To date, the Pink Ribbon Angels have funded over 2,000 free mammograms and diagnostic tests, over 300 free screening appointments. More information is available at Pink Ribbon Angels.
